Set & Scene is designed to do exactly that. For sponsors, this gives you unprecedented quality of access to your audience. Without distractions.

Champion the fusion of heritage craft and cutting-edge tech, empowering designers to innovate across industries.
Open up commercial work opportunities and collaborate with creatives, artists and decision-makers.

Why Set & Scene matters to sponsors and partners

Set & Scene brings together a highly specific, hard-to-reach audience: the people who shape what audiences see on screen, stage and immersive experiences.

Production designers, scenic makers, painters, builders, prop makers, CGI and VFX specialists don’t attend large trade shows in the same way – and they’re rarely gathered in one place. Set & Scene is designed to do exactly that.

We’re bringing together visual storytellers working in film and television, performance and theatre, live events and immersive experiences.

For sponsors, this gives you unprecedented quality of access to your audience. Without distractions.

Set & Scene is a focused, one-day event in the heart of London. It’s an event where conversations happen naturally, relationships form quickly, and your brand is experienced in context – not as noise, but as part of the craft ecosystem these professionals trust.

If your product, service or platform genuinely supports visual storytelling, Set & Scene puts you in front of the people who use it, influence it, and recommend it.

If this sounds like a good fit for you, we’d love to have a conversation.

If you have been searching for  collaboration and connection, then Set & Scene is for you.

Behind the Scenes

Meet the Set & Scene founders

Set & Scene started with a simple idea: as film, theatre, and events evolve, they’re facing similar challenges and opportunities but rarely are in one room together. We’re here to change that—connecting the dots, bringing suppliers into the conversation, and driving collaboration across industries.

Bimla Jackson brings over twenty years of creative events industry and brand experience, most recently heading up operations for the British Film Designers Guild. Born into a theatrical family, Bimla’s passion lies in connecting and inspiring creative minds, giving them a vital space to grow and share brilliant ideas.

Yosien Burke brings thirty years of film and TV industry experience, where she has championed training and sustainability initiatives. Developing the British Film Designers Guild’s Planet Positive Award and working with leading sustainable suppliers, she is dedicated to introducing cross-industry knowledge to Set & Scene.

Murray Ashton adds a global perspective to the team. As the founder of The Location Guide and FOCUS, he has been instrumental in building international partnerships that shape the creative landscape. His understanding of the industry’s commercial and creative needs helps Set & Scene deliver world-class opportunities.
