This session spotlights Sara Turnbull’s key lessons for designers and makers, drawn from ReStage’s research, pilot at the National Theatre, and work with reuse hubs across the UK including collaboration on the Get Set Cymru pilot site in Wales with Ella and AssetFlow; she will share a preview of the main asks and calls to action from ReStage’s forthcoming report and actively seek attendee feedback to help shape next steps for a zero-waste creative economy.

Complementing this, Ella Nevill from AssetFlow as part of the CAMA Group, will demonstrate how advanced asset tracking and management—refined through projects with Apple TV, Amazon MGM Studios, and Netflix—can empower productions to identify, catalogue, and monitor materials at every stage, unlocking practical, scalable strategies for material reuse and sustainability in everyday workflows.

“ReStage is building a zero-waste economy for stage and screen through a UK network of Resource Hubs for the Screen and Stage sector and seeking to establish a reuse hub at scale in London” said Sara Turnbull of ReStage. “We are sharing a preview of the key asks from our forthcoming report and seeking support from Set & Scene attendees to help shape this vital initiative.”
