As entertainment, experience and commerce continue to converge, successful stories now live across multiple formats. From stage adaptations and interactive exhibitions to immersive environments, experiential retail and must-have merch, storytelling is increasingly extended beyond the screen.
Through examples spanning film, theatre, experiential activations and brand partnerships, the panel explores how fictional universes are translated into real-world environments and what makes audiences accept these extensions as authentic.
The session will discuss how designers, producers and creative partners collaborate to maintain narrative integrity across formats, and how collaborators beyond the core creative team can contribute to a believable universe when they are integrated into the fabric of the world.
Due to designers’ schedules, we will confirm the full lineup of speakers on the website on 1st April.
