Production Designer and Art Director

Alexandra Walker’s career in British cinema as both a Production Designer and Art Director has spanned almost three decades.
Highly accomplished, her credits include three HARRY POTTER films, for which her work as part of the team behind THE ORDER OF PHOENIX was recognized with a nomination for Excellent in Production Design at the Art Directors Guild Awards. Alexandra had also collaborated with two major auteur Tim Burton on FRANKWEENIE and Wes Anderson on FANTASTIC MR FOX.
As a designer, her earlier credits include Christopher Payne’s Raindance winner and BIFA nominee LOVE TOMORROW, followed by 2014 Un Certain Regard nominee SNOW IN PARADISE with director Andrew Hulme. Her other notable designer credits include Simon Aboud´s feature THIS BEAUTIFUL FANTASTIC which was nominated for The Michael Powell Award for Best British Feature Film at 2017 Edinburgh Film Festival, LET ME GO directed by Polly Steele, Emily Harris’ debut feature CARMILLA, and Netflix’s & Nexus’ animated dark comedy THE HOUSE for which Alexandra was nominated for Outstanding Achievement for Production Design at the 2023 Annie Awards.
Alexandra designed the THE MAGIC FARAWAY TREE directed by Ben Gregor.
