Kris Turvey has been working as a visual artist in the entertainment industry for over 15 years. He was formerly Chief Creative Officer at Kuato Studios, a multi-award-winning developer of educational video games for children, where he worked on projects with clients including Marvel Studios, Disney, DreamWorks, and The Jim Henson Studio and led a creative adaptation of Enid Blyton’s The Famous Five books in partnership with Hachette, which won the UK Literacy Association Digital Book of the Year 2019.

Now a freelance concept artist, he has contributed to major motion pictures such as Dune Part 2 and Dune Part 3, and HETV shows including Dr Who, Renegade Nell and Invasion and is a core committee member of the British Film Designers Guild. Kris has released two tutorials on movie prop design using Autodesk Fusion via the Gnomon Workshop and will be demonstrating techniques from these at Set & Scene.
