Will Htay is an Artist, Designer and Creative Director, who trained in Theatre Design before working as a Production Designer of commercials, tv as well as working as a Concept Designer and more recently production designing largescale films including Star Wars and Marvel.

As part of his practice Will has been involved in developing the mixed reality workflow and toolset NOOR with technologist Federico Cascinelli. NOOR allows designs and digital assets to be experienced as models and 1:1 scale ahead of the final realisation as part of the design and sign-off process, spanning not only film and TV, but any live or digital experience such as theatre, architecture, concerts and artworks to name a few.

Alongside Will’s film and TV work he has been developing his own practice as an artist. Will’s focus is storytelling, using old and new technologies to illuminate contemporary themes around ownership and agency.
